Corner Canyon's 6A Volleyball Celebration, In Photos and Video
A photo/video look at Corner Canyon volleyball celebrating on the 6A state championship stage after its matchup with Skyridge.

The 6A volleyball championship scene did not need much explanation. When the final celebration arrived, Corner Canyon's players crowded together in navy, leis, warmups, and game jerseys, lifting the trophy and sharing the kind of hugs that only come after a full season has emptied itself into one last match.
Spectator Sport Media's championship video from the Corner Canyon vs. Skyridge matchup preserves the pace and pressure of the night. The photo gallery around it captures the quieter aftermath: players finding family, teammates wrapping each other up, coaches moving through the line, and the championship banner becoming part of the celebration.
That balance is what makes a state championship feel different from a normal match. The swings and rallies decide the result, but the memory often settles in the minutes after the last point, when athletes finally have permission to react. The trophy lift is loud. The hugs are slower. The team photo becomes proof that the year really happened.
For Corner Canyon, the celebration carried all of those pieces. Players raised the championship trophy, passed through congratulations, and gathered with the banner as cameras continued to roll. For Skyridge, the match was also part of a championship-stage season, and the video remains a record of two programs meeting under the brightest lights of the year.
This post is part of Spectator Sport Media's ongoing archive work as older event coverage is moved into the new newsroom. More photos and video packages from Utah high school state championship events will continue to be added as the archive is reviewed.
