FBU Florida Showdown
The Football University has done everything but fly under the radar this season.

The Football University has done everything but fly under the radar this season. From easy wins throughout the season, to nail-biting back-and-forths (an honorable mention is the Southern Utah game that was fought tooth and nail for each yard), the Northern Utah FBU team made it all the way to the Sunshine State for the championships.
Held in Naples, Florida, Football University’s Top Gun Showcase drew in elite middle and high school football talent from around the nation. Held over several days at the modern Paradise Coast Sports Complex, this premier event is regarded as one of the top football showcases in the country, giving student-athletes a platform to display both mental and physical skill.
Competitors from all 50 states (as well as Canada and England) gathered for an intense series of drills and evaluations, guided by more than 100 coaches with NFL and NCAA experience.
Athletes who have excelled at regional FBU camps throughout the spring earned the chance to compete at Top Gun, making this gathering the culmination of months of effort. For many, the Showcase is their final stage of competition this season before moving on to other elite opportunities.
FBU provides the opportunity for players who want to do more than just play locally with their middle or high school teams, these athletes want to be on a national stage, leaving everything they have out on the field every time. The late night practices and long travel days make it all worth it when they come out on top, champions, against all. At Spectator Sport, that is exactly the type of program we want to shed light on, we thoroughly enjoyed following FBU this season and to show our appreciation for the coaching staff and boys, we sponsored a team dinner at Steak N' Shake. It was truly a great experience, we look forward to more collaborations in the future.
